Anybody have any experience with installing Windows on a macbook?

    What would you recommend:

    Windows XP Pro?
    Windows Vista?
    Windows 7?

win 7 is actually quite cool for a windows OS. Vista is a disaster, stay as far away from that stuff as possible.

Thanks Nigel, I have heard as much. Anybody I talk to has the same to say about Vista - it "sucks".... I'm wondering if its worth trying Windows 7?

And if my Macbook will actually be able to run it....

You bought a MAC and want to install WINDOWS on it?! That's a sin.
Do some researches on google, as far as I know there is no 'easy' way for doing this sin.

If you get a program called Parallels, you can run Windows (or Linux) in an actual window on your Mac. It works awesome! I can do everything on Windows that I could on a regular Windows machine and while my window is open, I can easily switch back and forth to my Mac desktop with a click of a button.

I have a Mac Mini and thanks to Parallels, I didn't have to give up the things about Windows that I like, particularly some of the applications I use a lot.
