Automated e-commerce sites give a good return for no real maintenance, and not much setup. I can see these types of sites headed for the toilet in the future, though. The search engines don't really like them, and some services that provide content feeds for them seem to be actively discouraging them (Ebay).

And adsense blog thats promoted and built properly could take your ~2 weeks. You could have built the site, added/created articles, promoted. It would be near the top of googles listings for keyword by the time your done and it would be google danced already. The right niche with nice articles could net you 1-5$ a day per site, little to no maintenance. Maybe a scheduled article update on the site every week? Not too bad.

Personally I always found it an uphill battle to make any worthwhile money from proxies. Maybe I was just doing it wrong, though. What I did was to chase proxylist traffic, but search engine traffic undoubtedly would have done a lot better.
