does anyone know while my eye keeps tearing when am working on the computer and stops when i leave? What can i do to fix it?
Well this could be anything really. You could be too close to the monitor. Also make sure your using your computer in a well let room if not it will strain your eyes. Also if there is glare on your monitor then this might be effect your eyes.
That might be eye strain, it happens when our eyes are getting tired and to much worked up that it almost dried up. Use a computer in a well lit room and don't get too near the monitor if possible(you could always decrease the resolution if you can't see the letters)
Try bumping up your refresh rate. I've got the opposite problem, my eyes dry out when I'm on the computer. My optometrist says that a lot of computer users have dry eyes because we don't blink enough.
Be careful, when it comes to your health, buddy it´s not the best think on the world to become blind only because you didn´t relax enough...
get you eyesight checked ,may be you need glasses or you need agjustment to your computer.and dignose the problem now instead of ignoring it.
Try turning your brightness down a bit. Also I think that you can buy filters for monitors to help reduce the effects of glare.
Well most people tend to forget to blink when they are engrossed doing something, you may be suffering from the same thing..just remember to blink. Blinking helps reduce strain and also prevent chances of your eye power from increasing as you eye muscles relax when you blink.
Take break regularly! Place some interesting stuffs like some funny pics, your friends or lover photos, Any thing which distracts you most often near the monitor. This will give you few seconds rest to your eyes and relieves stress to some extent.
i've used to work using my pc for 12 hours / day i use special eye glass to get protected from radiation also i increaed my screen refresh rate to 80 Hz also take a rest every 1 hour for few mins and must close your eyes for at lest 5 seconds and keep distance btween you and the screen at least 30 cm
It could be an eye strain or astigmatism. I suggest you consult with an opthalmologist for proper diagnosis.
