I submitted my site to bing few weeks back. Seems like not getting much traffic from bing. Yahoo is a lot better, getting quite some decen traffic.

I just posted a link to my site on another forum and was indexed in 48 hours. I bypassed their entire submit process.

    Hi,

To verify if a site is indexed, does one type the URL or : "link:http://website.com" ?
    Thanks.

    Regards,

    José

You've posted literally twenty times in this thread, and none of your posts in this thread have any actual meaning. It's all " WOW, THANKS FOR THE TIPS".

You would have to submit your domain as : http://www.mysite.com, don't include the link:

I didn't do anything and was indexed by Bing. Maybe it's because I have an MSN account. I just assumed they'd find me and they did.

    Hi Yugo,

I meant to verify, not to submit.
    Thanks.

You can submit your sitemap to bing similar to google and yahoo at http://www.bing.com/webmaster I don't think it works anywhere near as good as googles. In your account when you update your pages there is an option to ping or resubmit your sitemap there too. I have some .htaccess modifications and I think because of that my site blocks bing a lot. But I think the bing, msn, live or whatever bot you want to call it gets lost a lot. I think they need to teach their bot to be more like google and yahoo's bot.
