Spend 50 million US dollars on wedding!!!!

Damn Everybody is trying to save money on wedding. I heard one story when couple spend 300$ on wedding to save money. But I guess when it comes to billionaire things change. He spend 50 million on his daughter wedding. He also holds the world record of most expensive "Home Sweet Home" (worth 128 million $, damn that really make it really sweet). What's amazing about this guy is that he comes from poor family and another amazing thing is he is self-made billionaire (yep its b not m). Who is he - He is an Indian named "Lakshmi Mittal". I may not respect him that much if he was billionaire but damn he is self-made billionaire. I guess anyone who can still say anything against him would be person with extreme low self esteem.

 

I believe that spending so much money for a one-day event is a crime! Even people with regular jobs are spending many thousands of dollars on weddings rather than beginning their married lives debt free and ready to buy a home. $1000 for a wedding gown should be the most anyone spends for a dress that will be worn one day.

 

I'm not sure what to think, wow, was my first thought, so I did some searching and the link describes the Wedding which was a 5-day event in Paris, along with putting up the 1000 guests in a 5-star hotel. Thanks for sharing the information Teckinik.

I would spend that money on hot cars...not weddings You'll get ATLEAST 4 years out of a car hehe.

 

wow, thats a crime, a lot of people dont have food for eat, and this guy spending 50 millions for a stupid weeding, i almost sure the daughter divorce in a few months lol

I think the trend now is couples are looking to save money on weddings and rather put that money towards actually building a new life. It's seems kind of silly to spend so much money on one day but that's just me.

I think rich people have weddings as an excuse to throw HUGE parties. I bet this will be no different.

Im a white guy from Mass. I got married in Va. In a Black Gospel Church. the pastor was in his fed-ex uniform. If I could of, I would of spent that much. At the time, I was broke. My wife loves me with our no money wedding. it doesnt matter

 

Woah, that's too much spending and totally impractical in these days of global recession. He could've used it for other important things or deeds.
