    It's checking how many backlinks a person's website have competing in the same field as you.
    This is usually done through Yahoo site explorer or try other sites such as backlinkwatch.com

    Competitors backlinks analysis is the competitor backlinks of their site like the inbound and outbound links that links to the competitor site. You may use the backlinkwatch.com
