I have a question about twitter. I am using Tweet later to schedule tweets. It was converting traffic and seems to have decreased in effectiveness. I have experimented with changing the rotation of my tweets but am confused about something. When I log in to my twitter account all I see is my tweets back to back below were it says what are you doing but when when you go to http://twitter.com/honestman3 where people go to look at my tweets I see very few of my tweets if any. What id the deal.
I don't think if it's easy to get quality traffic from twitter. Conversion Rate will be very low I assume.
Like it was mentioned before it is very important to have the right type of follower. If you are following everyone than the interest in your niche is going to suffer but if all of your followers are interested in the same thing than traffic is going to increase and hopefully so will sales
what exactly was twitter created for? All I know of it is a way to generate traffic and let people know what you are up to in short sentences
I'm getting more to grips with using Twitters power, I agree that it seem to work best in a b2b basis almost, with people promoting their own sites but if you can put the effort/time in then it's well worth going back to. Especially if you can provide exclusive comps or news.
twitter gives traffic.. if you want to have good traffic, its much better if you interact with your followers and other people there...
I just thought I'd say LOL @ that typo. On topic: Twitter can be a decent source of traffic. I get about 20-50 hits a day and I don't even need to Tweet anything.
Twitter is time consuming. It brings you traffic. Followers can give you credibility to other users. Twitter try to curb spammers. I think it's a good tool for generating traffic.
Ya, I think twitter followers are good, but as far as I know, many links of website are just for purchase, and few people will be interested in them. So I think promoting your information is necessary. You can take something interesting to gain followers' attention not just for a making money tool. In a word, making followers genuine and interested in what you said, what's more, making them believe you , all of these may lead you to success.
Twitter blows. Half the people on there are marketers and have autofeed rss junk. They never really go there much. Don't believe me? I have 12,000 plus followers that do ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! All they do is crappy Bitly links and stupid comments once in awhile. I suppose I could sit there all day and play with it, maybe I would get something out of the thing. I use it primarily to impress uneducated people who think big follower numbers mean something. http://www.twitter.com/yourockradio just so you see I am not lying.
