Should already be installed on their Linux accounts: http://help.godaddy.com/article/5614 Best bet would be to ask them if you;re having an issue.
the problem i am facing is driving me crazy.. i don't even have a php5.ini file. I have been writting so many things there watching various tutorials. I am clueless as how to solve the problem
You may have missed what I posted. You need to contact Godaddy support if you're having a problem. We can't help you here as we have no access to your account nor any of your account information. Only they can fix whatever issue you;re having. Chances are you;re not going to have access to a php.ini file. Most shared hosts don't provide such a feature. There are ways to override that and searching on Google for 'godaddy php.ini' may help you. Again, communicate with Godaddy.
Honestly, godaddy sucks for web hosting. Find a new web host like Hostgator. GoDaddy is only good for domains.
