No Never..20k is not a small figure.. he needs to paly successfully for another 4 OR 5 Years OR So.. Several things to be consider like Fitness Form etc.

It seems obvious as you are from SriLanka. Sanath is a master as he is still dominating at the age of 40 but the discussion is about sachin here. 5/6 years are easy to say but most cricketers don't even play for 5 years and sachin is getting older now.
well it will need something other than a miracle as the fitness level do tend to fall rapidly. I just wish he remains fit for world cup next year..
Yes definitely Sachin can cross 20000 runs in ODI. His forms look better as his ages go by. And He will set up such a milestone that no body dream to be achieve it. His forms going better and better no question about that. In my opinion he is the most gifted in the World.
