Yep, certainly... I wasn't looking for something real complex. But the downside of using a product whose source code is available is that it's just inviting hackers to come play. It takes a bit more experience and knowledge to break into a system that you don't have the source for. :)

I'm not allowed to mention them specifically but if you want to find out you can email right media and ask for a copy of their fee structure for publisher accounts or networks, or a copy of the contract, which mentions the detail. It's really not as bad as other options, even some that have been mentioned in this thread, and you get great servers, software and liquidity.
I can also put you in touch with someone more knowledgeable than me if you'd like to start a network, PM me.

AMP is a great script for the price, but to make a network with it is very labor intensive, because of matching the amount of advertisers to the amount of publishers is hard. Ad exchanges do that for you. Also, AMP doesn't have contextual, behavioral, or demographic targeting, while some exchanges do offer that.

If you can name me one large network that runs on AMP, I will eat my words. But I can, and anyone else can, easily name 10 top ad exchange networks.

    Hi Tonyriz,

Ad Exchange is good only if you dont want big company or even medium there is no value for it because people who use ad exchange network have mostly less traffic and they try to build their site's traffic from ad exchange.

    World Class,

Exchanges run over 15 billion impressions daily. CPX, Vizi, Clickbooth, Revenue Science, are alll part of exchanges. If you want a big company and you don't have a lot of startup funds, you do go with an ad exchange. The belief that only small advertisers and publishers use exchanges is false, because they are so popular and have so many advertisers and great fill rates, publishers of all kinds apply to them. You don't get 15 billion+ from only small publishers. On nearly any prominent site with ads, you'll find a right media tag.
If you do want a small company, then you work by yourself until you are dragged into the dust :) or think of a really clever idea.

Adbrite is a closed ad exchange, and AdSense is also on an ad exchange...
which site is not live? I've experimented with many many things, including AMP, and I've found this to be the best solution to start with.

I agree with tonyriz, if you are serious about starting an ad network then using a premade php script will not work and cannot attract serious webmasters. I already have the traffic with more than 5 million views a day so I really want to start an ad network but I'm still doing the research lol

So tonyriz, how does an ad network start when there is no advertisers yet. It's possible to display ads from other networks right? and how is the bidding inside RMX work?

Right. An exchange will give you access to advertisers from networks, advertisers and agencies that you choose to link to on the exchange. I assume you're looking at right media, so I'll base my response on that, but don't count out AdECN and AdX, they are definitely worth looking into.

You'll be displaying ads from other networks. RMX gives you a 100% optional fill rate, which they get by allowing CPC and CPL/CPA ads, which they factor all together into an eCPM. You can set a pricing floor and then work with another network, or just send all your inventory, or publisher impressions ,to right media. Eventually, a few advertisers are going to come to you, but I'd strongly recommend that you go out and contact agencies and advertisers, because they are far more profitable, and equally easy to deal with.

Bidding is done with a real-time auction. As an ad loads, the visitor's characteristics are identified and all campaigns that are looking for that category of vistor bid- the highest bidder wins.
As an advertiser, the dynamic CPM option allows the system to automatically lower your bid if the ad spot you're buying is low performance.

This is sort of a graphical interpretation of the info above, at RM's site. http://www.rightmedia.com/solutions/the-auction/
Note that RM's fee may not be included in that pretty little diagram

Hey guys i've already decided to use the amp as the script wise. Currently im getting the domain as we speak. Once we set up the advertisers from my clients in a different work we will be setting up the publishers.

CPM Rates judging from the rates of our advertisers we will be setting it from $0.08-$0.20 CPM Flat Rates

It Will be a Net 15 Payout Plan.
And also the Minimum payout is $20.00

This is the layout so far.

Advertisers will get a bonus package for advertising during the first month.
