Using Free Methods Online Will KILL You

Seriously folks if you are going to use free methods you will be at the mercy of search engines. In the warrior forum for instance one guy had a $40k a year page get de-indexed from Google.

So while free methods are good to confirm that making money online is good here is what anyone looking to make serious cash online should do

(a) Get A Proper Education...looking at free forums provides you with no real incentive to take action...there's loads of quality internet marketing sites that will spur you onto greatness. Of course forums like these are great when you've made it...but it can be frustrating when you're a beginner.

(b) Buy an auto-responder...if you are not building a list then you will lose a lot of money in profit...so buck up and take Awebers $1 trial

(c) Buy a relevant domain name/hosting....using a web 2.0 properties like squidoo could go belly up at any time therefore having your own .com/,net is imperative.. no one can take that away from you.

 

Free methods are still effective and sometimes even more than paid methods but they consume more time and you're right that you will not make any serious money if you just use free methods. It has to be a balance of free and paid methods.

 

Gotta admit that if I had a $40k a year page that I had set up for free, I would be trying to dupe that method to get more.

 

I agree with Lotos. Free method is still effective. We have tried bunch of paid methods that brought us little yield. It is okay to do a paid method buut use it with caution. There are bunch of rip-off out there.

 

Free methods are still effective but it just takes more time compared to paid methods.

 

How are free methods effective if they bring you in very little traffic?

And, a minimum-paid worker makes more money and works far fewer hours.

 

Yeah... Sais the guy with "If So Then These Free Tutorials From Wealthy Affiliate Are A Must!!" in his signature. And what special super duper paid methods do you know? Paid methods are the same free methods being sold to n00bs who dont know anything and cant find info themselves. Of course there are some exeptions, but this sales letter (uhm.. post) of yours made me laugh. If someone knows any good valuable information he will neither share it or sell it. Sometimes this info leaks and then it will be shared or sold but sooner or later it will get saturated. Doesnt matter if its free or paid. 80% of so called methods sold here on DP can be found for free elsewhere, so are you still telling me that paid methods are better?

 

Well free methods are time consuming and that's not why people want to make money online? Your time is limited after all...

I use ppc and a squeeze page to build a list..then do joint ventures...I have alist of 5,000 within 30 days...

What do you do? Write a gazillion articles for pennies

Saturation? This is the internet, there's plenty of room for everyone

The only method I have is taking action continuosuly...

Free methods work fine. You just have to add your own unique twist to them. Getting de-indexed is always a risk if you dabble in anything close to blackhat seo. Business is all about taking risks...

99% of "paid methods" are just repackaged/tweaked free methods. No ones "paid method" is 100% unique, it is available for free somewhere on the internet.

As stated above, if someone had a guaranteed and totally original method to make serious cash, why would they share it for $20 and risk having that method saturated?

Answer: They wouldn't!

 

I could be wrong, but I think, Mr. Wealthy Affiliate pusher is talking about bringing in traffic, which some of you are not talking about.

Not the subject of the thread (I don't think, anyway), but...many do it to make even more money. Combine that with them knowing that even though it COULD be saturated, not many webmasters who would be copying it don't even know how to get the word out about their sites.

People can copy my info all day long, but I know very few know how to market it; to get the word out. Of the few who do, so what? The Internet is one hugh-ass place.

JohnChow.com shows folks how he makes money off of his site. That is how he makes money. There have been knock offs, but very, VERY few have done as well as he has.

There's your answer.

Uhhhh, many do write a lot of articles, but they also make the money that makes it worth it. Break it down, and many of them are making over $20 an hour, and, working at home.

It's not my cup of tea, writing so many articles every....single...day, but they seem to like it just fine.

Do your research before making such statements.

 

I have to agree. There is no free lunch.

If your not willing to spend money on your business, you most likely won't make any money.

 

Basically i agree with you, free method dont kill you but it kills your time.
You need to spend long times but get a very little return. That's why many people prefer paid method.

 

Writing articles for Ezine won't kill your sales. They will actually help your sales get better. And it's FREE!!

 

This is good and that is bad, that method rocks and the other one is dead. Oh, no. In life things are not only black or white ...

I wonder why do you waste your time with forum marketing? It's a free method after all and according to the title of this thread - YOUR title - it will kill you BTW, when doing FREE forum marketing you're NOT at the mercy of any search engine

Building links?
Getting traffic?
Making money?

You learn a lot from doing those free methods.

 

I never paid for my advertising and promotion campaign since 2003 and one of my clickbank sales pages has been placed on top of google since 2006 raking more than $600 per month on commission.. Are you saying I've been doing wrong since 2006?

I hate mailing lists, email marketing, link exchanges, traffic exchanges, PPC...


Everything I have but SEO..... and I never had any problem..

 

What are you on about my post on article marketing was to help people who haven't made ANYTHING online...but if you want RAPID growth without killing yourself you have to start using paid methods

 

There is the timeless saying, you need to spend money to make money. But using "free" methods to begin to GET a stream of income, is better then nothing.

Then once you have money that you've gotten from spending ... NO money... then you're on your way.
