Tom J said that would happen back in the day... But be that as it may, we are in for some seriously hard times ahead with this buffoon (obama) leading our once great country into super inflation.
And he's spending another 250 billion today. On top of that, Cost of Living Allowance is going down for servicemembers overseas by 200 dollars this year. Even though the exchange rate isn't getting any better. The German economy is going to suffer from that. As servicemembers already have a hard time paying for things off post, since they do not make much at all. The average is about 2k a month.
Inflation will not happen until the velocity of money increases (ie. the speed at which money changes hands). That won't happen until the credit markets have finished contracting/adjusting. The bailouts are designed to hinder that process and indirectly prolong the deflationary agony.
Doom & Gloom much? President Obama is rescuing our country from 8 years of inept leadership. While some folks are crying over the fact that they were flat out wrong about everything, some of us are going to be making a killing by investing in America's future.

The market has been tanking since late 2007 and it's been falling through the floor since September of last year. It's only now that Obama's policies have had a chance to start working that the stock market is rising again. Also I never lost any money on the stock market tanking because I didn't have any money in the market then. I finally have the confidence in America to invest again, and I'm making a fortune. Finally we have a real leader again. --- That being said: It's important to point out when President Obama is wrong. For example he was dead wrong in his response to the idea of marijuana legalization today.
Does stocks reflect the economy? I beg to differ on that, especially with the added twist of bailouts bailouts and bailouts. 8 years of inept leadership, I cant really say, it is to each his or her own judgment. But to reach the impasse that we are having now takes far far more than 8 years. We can't just let Bush take all the credit.

I'm not seeing these celebrations you're talking about. Is the media purposely hiding footage of these "right wingers" dancing in the streets, dinner parties, or pajama sleepovers I'm not seeing? As far as people against it, I saw Republicans against it, some, probably because Obama is President and they're idiots, others for the financial reasons listed above and some Repubs for it. As far as others against, I saw MANY libertarians against it who were throwing up in the mouth looking at the debt #'s and potential padding of pockets corrupted ones were setting up. I also saw teachers standing up, while the union supported it, some teachers were speaking out saying if they're going to spend money, why not on the public schools? I dunno if these teachers were part of you "right wingers" you're on a crusade against or not.

Are you saying that people that disagree with the President do not respect the President? That's sure what it sounds like. You don't have to agree with everything Obama does to respect the office, or the man. As to celebrating failure? Many do because they find the alternative much more dangerous.
