Ok literally all my sites on the same IP have been sandboxed.. they are indexed but.. lost their first page positions. How can i get them out of Sandbox? Dir's are useless, whats the best way? If my sites work, a nice donation will go to the person with the correct suggestion!
One of my sites got sandboxed but 8 weeks later it was back in the SERPS. Takes time bro... Best thing you can do is just continuing to build backlinks to them so when they do get back in the SERPS they will be stronger then ever. Just make sure you aren't build TOO much at one time.
Yes, i understand but where is the best place to slowly build backlinks? Because directories are poor and may even harm your SERPs. Social Bookmarks?
My site has not sandboxed but I would love to know what the things to do for it to get away from being sandboxed..But Since somebody have said it will be back to Google SERPS.. then that would be okay. !
You can build backlinks via 1) Article Marketing 2) Blog Commenting 3) Press Releases 4) etc I'm surprised you got sandboxed solely from directory submissions. Directory submissions are not as effective as they once were in the past, but it usually shouldn't get you sandboxed (unless you are getting like 1000 submissions every 24 hours to a brand new site). So you can mix and match your backlink building, thats actually the best way in my opinion.
This is normal for new sites and its nothing to worry about. To get out of the "sandbox" - its going to take time, backlinks, and unique quality content. And the thing is, you do not want backlinks from spammy directories. With new sites, you want to be careful about the sites you link from. Only link from sites that monitor the links and keep it spam free. Post unique quality content on a regular basis, submit a sitemap to google and the other search engines, and just do an overall good job.
The sand box only applies to new sites. Once you come out, you don't go back in. Google makes algorithm changes daily (on average). If your sites aren't new, it could be a penalty or an algorithm shift. If you were crosslinking all your sites, that could look like a link farm and result in a drop in SERPS.
Creating quality backlinks should keep you out of the sandbox. The reason for this is because when Google sees your site is still active with new content and is constantly being backlinked, it sees it as being very popular in your market. Google tries to eliminate any sites that are outdated or are not popular anymore.
As i understand it, Sandbox holds back' new websites but more importantly, the effects reduce over time not on the basis of website aging, but on link aging. Meaning the time you spend in the Google Sandbox is directly linked to when you start acquiring quality links for your website. Thus, if you do nothing, your website may not be released from the Google Sandbox.
