Bing and Yahoo would Kill Google

Google has nothing to worry about that issue... !
If they will negotiate to make MICROHOO OR BINGHOO or whatever.. then go on...
We've always wanted to let them know that Google is still number one and the unbeatable!

Killing google ? Farfetched one. Better they should improve the search results.

Does that make sense? why you use search engines? To get relevant result! right? if you won't get it, then whats the use of a search engine.
So far G is here forever and seems unbeatable for sure.

The advance that google has over yahoo and bing is that there crawler is faster, they crawl sites faster.

 

google search engine is too mechanical. It relies more upon algorithms and abuses. Algorithms are designed by google. These algorithms should not be mistaken for anything requiring very high skills. These are some parameters based upon which google ranks the search results. The search results are abused by the SEO experts. Many times the search results that come to the top are so spammy that waste a lot more time.

Google is a great instrument. But it needs some improvement. It needs to add human element to it. eZdia does exactly that. It associates an expert corresponding to each search result. There are some other similar platforms that you need to explore - to be able to see its usefullness.

 

Yes ... GoogleBot doesn't spend a whole lot of time trying to find every single little thing on the domain.

 

Those names they chose are not very catchy- and if they were going to dominate google, they would have already. The one nice thing about google, is it's clean interface... a box. Whereas yahoo and msn have ads and all kinds of other things surround the search box. I am not sure they will be able to surpass that, especially since yahoo still seems to give out alot of spam mail- and msn (hotmail) emails are still not accepted on alot of websites because they are free.

 

Trying to tackle a single dominate search engine with two search engines is impossible. It's like fighting a war on two fronts ... it just doesn't work ... you need to put all your resources into your strongest asset ...

Google has more traffic than both yahoo and bing ... sure if you combine bing and yahoo ... the number beats out google ... but over 2 search engines ... not one.

 

I don't like big corps like google getting bigger than they are, but if it wasn't google it would be another corp. Google works well, it's fast, simple and accurate. I sometimes wonder if microsoft or yahoo came up with some kind of similar ranking system to google's pagerank if they would gain a lot more popularity.

Google will definately stand for a long time. Most recognizable and there are so many features and applications google has/is created/creating.

 

Bleh I couldn't see this happening at all. Google is the best.

 

For now Google is still on top, but the Microsoft powered Bing Is getting better and better and also gaining popularity... So who knows? Maybe someday it can compete to Google...
