    I'm starting up a new tutorial website and need some inspiration for the background!

    The site is Tutorial yard[.]com

    Here is what I currently have:

    Change whatever you want with it, except for the content area. Change the colours etc, background.

    I quite like the current colours, something quite dark is where I would like to head - but if it looks good I'm open to ideas.

    What I'm looking for;

    Something creative like the one at tutorial9. here is an example of it.

    So show your creativity. I'll be checking this periodically and giving feedback when appropriate.

    If you want, you can also submit a small mockup logo just to show what it may look like.

    Winner will be paid $75 via paypal.

    It will be primarily be photoshop tutorials, some illustation and coding.

    C'mon people, $75 up for grabs - not much work either!

    xluciusx, reakky nice design. I like what you've done. Can't pick any faults with it so keep up the good work!

    katesrobyn, I like your design too, however - I think there is too much going on. Other than that I think you're on the right lines. Keep it up.

    Ok, on second thought I think I'm just going to wait for xyunaxfantasiesx's entry. If you can submit before he does then by all means join the competition.

    everything cept for the pencils and the paint can. but those are free to use resources with no credit or anything of that nature required

    Really good work by everyone so far.

    I'd like everyone who has submitted to download this .psd and apply their backgrounds to it as it has the correct dimensions along with the search box. Just apply your background to it and then post the image so I can see what it looks like.

    One thing I'd like to see is the icons removed and the logo placed on the left side instead of the right as that's where the search box would go. Please download the .PSD and apply your design to it. Thanks!
