You should pick one version and stick with it throughout your site. Do not mix them up. Google looks at them as 2 different pages. Google canonical url, to get a better explanation.

Google doesn't care which one you use... but definitely don't change it. I think eventually they find it again as they did when I changed my first site but if definitely effected my rank for a while.

Backlink1 is a standard one and you better stick to it. Also set a permanent redirect on Backlink2.

Backlink value differs from http:// and http://www

If you have not done any 301 redirect, I suggest you to do that to gain all your backlink values.

Search engines looks at those sites with www and non-www differently.

You can easily set this to your preferred domain in google webmaster and .htaccess

Don't use both as these may be treated as duplicate contents. Both are treated as different domain by SEs so stick with either one.

Google treat both version of URLs as seperate one, thus you might face duplicate content issue, it will be better to redirect one version of URL to other.

You have to decide where to go
    Backlink 1 : http://www.mydomain.com
    Backlink 2 : http://mydomain.com

some website URL stars from www and some without www so conform what is your website url just enter your url to google and check what google show to you and use that url for backlinks
