The above two factor is causing the low earning.
1. 468X60 standard banner is giving the lowest CTR compare to other size. Maybe you can try to change them to rectangular ads
2. Spanish site or saying non-english site normally have low CPC.

 

Thanks life player. I have changed the 468x60 to a 350x250 banner...... I have to say something important. I don't know if I made a mistake.
But 588 k impressions are what awstats shows in September. Otherwise, adsense report, says I've earned 235, 83$ with 330.000 impressions.....why awstats statics are differente that adsense statics for the same site???

 

Wow. It really depends on the niche and the eCPM. Try some A-B testing. Change colors and placement and see how that adjusts your earnings.

 

you should try kontera or some other alternative in-text advertising..

 

None of any traffic status are showing you the same data.
And i know that awstats always show more impression. Suggest to use google analytic, the traffic status is more accurate (more close to adsense status)

 

Its maybe, your ads positioning is not good..

 

I agree with Lifeplayer. Some of my sites earn approximately the same as yours but they have far less impressions. As for 100K impressions = $100, I would be very disappointed with that. Mine is almost 10K impressions = $100. I have many websites in the health and medical niche so this may be the difference.

I do notice that those sites that are confined regionally, like my South African health website, pay far less than international sites. American and UK traffic seems to be the highest paying. I find that 336x280 and 300x250 to be the best. 2 ad units within the text, either indented to the right or left of the content, and at least 2 link ad units either blended in with the categories on the sidebar or place immediately under the search box. My CTR varies per site, but it is on average 6% which I am not too happy with at this point. So always testing and trying new ad placements.

the niche is news management its well paid. i used 2 468x60 banners, one at the top of the content and one at the bottom...i'm changing them for 2 350x250
anyway I think is very low earnings...will try to improve my site as much as I can..if you see it, it seem to be a washington post site! it's great!

 

maybe u puted alot of banner ads ? and have much ipm i think so that's not good for your site

That is ridiculously high unless you have fewer than 500 uniques per day.

Try to increase your CTR changing the ad position or reducing them...!

I think you may not know the key to get more clicks on your adsense ads, you need to tweak your ad units for more CTR and also use units which proved to show more clicks, also place them in right locations, my blog doesn't get as much traffic as yours its new but still I get like 3.5% to 7% click through rate because I knew how to tweak ads and also I knew which spots that get more clicks.

More click you make, more money you get as simple as that and comparing with my earnings with such a low traffic and impressions per month you should be getting a lot more. I make like $3 to $5 for 700 to 800 impressions per day.
