Those don't go together. Most of the servers I see in my data center have hard drives in the 250 - 500 gig range. Assuming that the account allows for 50 gigs of space and a 500 gig drive, I would only be taking in $200 a box if I didn't oversell. Costs me over $120 per month to rack a server and that's just for technical costs, bandwidth, power and outsourced support and management. There's very little profit there once you also work in debt service. For reference, I don't oversell (Well bandwidth a little if you work out the math) but I don't promise my clients the moon either.
may i recommend apthost. They are on the expensive side for high diskspace but they have everything else which you are looking for. thanks
I think in servce, we are started snce 2006 as web services but in web hosting firm 2008. about the services ,we can guarantee the services to serve you better. but we cannot guarantee you the file hosting and proxy. just vist the us and compare it. GOOD LUCK!
My aim is to build a solid Hosting company. And also i am really pissed off by changing from one host to another.. i have changed around 4-6 hosting company.. some where fraud and some were not upto the mark (din alowed me to edit php config etc..) so i decided to start my own hosting company to host my sites (around 6 sites) and also to help people who are in my situation.. If they oversell it, will it reduce their speed?
php.ini edit ? it will need root access i suggest go with vps, you should be able to use full resources which is not possible on shared hosting , you mentioned you require file/ proxy hosting support with 50gb space / 500gb bw with cpanel , you should double your budget.
To tell you the true: Generally, CPanel with WHM cost you around $15-20 per month. Do u think you will find the host you want ?
You do need to review you budget as well as requirements even for shared hosting. In this budget - you can get very good options for unlimited hosting, however adult or porn stuff would not be allowed. You may review web hosting demo to check services offered by us for a very reasonable pricing based on US servers. However - as mentioned, we do not allow adult / porn hosting.
Games / image sharing (without adult content) would be allowed. Proxy traffic creates problem and thus not allowed. PHP config and modules would be allowed. Thx
Dude - this isn't even close to being a good hosting outfit. You need to have dedicated servers. Cost = way beyond what you can afford ($200+/mo). What you're about to offer is shared/shared hosting. Anyone who accepts this type of service is accepting the lowest of all hosting alternatives.
