Cool Night Photos in Los Angeles, CA | Nikon D90

Last night I was bored at home and decided to take a quick 5-minute drive to Century City (California) and snap some photos of the cool scenery. I took a few slow-shutter photos using my Nikon D90 DSLR and shot a good amount of HD video, which I will be editing shortly.

Just an FYI -- Century City is a small area within Los Angeles that's South/West of Beverly Hills and East of Santa Monica.

    Enjoy!

Nice shots. Did you use a tripod or handheld?

    Thanks! :)

A couple were on a tripod and a couple freehand. I was walking around and sometimes didn't feel like setting up the tripod. I'm lazy, I know lol

Century City gets really quiet at night -- it's like a ghost town. The businesses close down and surrounding offices are empty, so late at night is a perfect time to shoot photos there. Otherwise, I'd be bombarded with floods of people. :)

Thanks for the posts everyone -- I really appreciate it! :)

The lines are cars passing by. Since I was shooting with slow shutter speed the cars/lights appear as lines. I believe this is what you mean.

    Thanks again!
