I disagree. Unsolicited email is spam. A point also to remember if a company sends unsolicited email they can be prosecuted for it.
There are certain types of good email software available in the market. You must know various benefits of email software before you buy it.
email harvesting software? you do realise this is not only illegal but a complete waste of time? why the hell do you think that your product is SO good that everybody will want to know about it? If you knew anything about marketing you'd realise the value of OPT-IN, and you'd realise that spamming is a waste of time.

if you're okay with being unethical, illegal, ineffective and most likely pissing 95% of the list off, then go for it. but they are good enough reasons to avoid it as far as i'm concerned.
its not good way to collect emails, u r not get good result, u need to consult company like amarketforce
most of my competitors are using scams to get in front of me in SERP...why should i stay that low ? there still are people who don't know what email spam means and what should they do when they get it, anyway, for those who doesn't know what's all about i will do it
this is consider as spam.. Plus if you were able to send them email 99% of them will delete your solicitation email right away
