Hi please Could I get some reviews for my site http://www.picturemycake.co.uk The site has been up around 3 months now I am getting sales most of the sales was coming thought eBay link in listings and link in ME page I took a couple of weeks off eBay and still been getting sales Getting around 60-75 unique hits per day I need to get this up I need all the help I can get I am going to be adding a slide show of the different cakes maid up on the main page in the next couple of week (hopefully) Please help with anything you think I can make better on the site also all the SEO tips you can throw at me. The thing I need help with also is were I can get people to link to my site I just don’t have a clue Thanks
I dont think it looks as professional as i would like it to be... but if you say your getting sales then obv your doing something right!
I wanted it to be a simple layout this is the reason I choose this so people just come buy the stuff and off they go till next birthday cake needs a topper you think this is the right way? Could you give me a little more info what you mean about the text categories box
As above hitman I was sort of looking for the plain look but not the unprofessional look any tips to make it look a little more professional? I no I am making sales but I am sure I would be making more if I could just get the site right Any SEO tips I need them all
*Design - Logo - too 2.0 style.. but if u want the 2.0 style.. use the 2.0 style everywhere.. even the menus - use a bigger price font (raise it by 1) *Content - very nice *Layout - personally I don't like it.. sorry *Domain - good ideea *First Impression - not attractive *Usability - good but i don't like the menu location
Wasn’t aware that the banner was 2.0 style The price font I am looking how to do this. The cart is Zen cart so I am looking how to do this. Content thanks about the content I am trying to add more Layout – I don’t think its great but I wanted it plain and simple to use (how do you think I could make it more appealing? Were do you mean what page title? I am doing all the page titles Meta tags ect thought Zen cart admin
@First impressions: - if u want use another color, but not that blue, use some brown - add some images, and make the photos bigger @usuability - the menu content is not aligned correctly
I have heard this of most people who go to my site I have just changed it to Arial (blue) can you suggest a better color
The plan is to add a slide show to the main page The pictures I am limited due to Zen cart The menu - It looks ok on my computer but looks like your screen print on my vista computer I think i will look for a better Zen cart template any suggestions
