Hi, you all know that some clients buy a few identical domains and put same content all over them.

    For example:

    tugeza.com
    tugeza.biz
    tugeza.net

So my question - I would even start a poll - is the following: What is the best way to solve the issue:

    1. Nofollow all over duplicate sites
    2. Permanent Redirect
    3. Canonical attribute on all the pages (redirecting to the source page of the main site)

Nofollow is irrelevant, you could set the robots tag to not index the other sites, but a redirect is the best solution.
The canonical attribute is for duplication within a site, not across other domains or subdomains.

I like to go with magda. 301 redirection will be the best solution.

301 redirect will help the SEO the most out of the options. You want the search engines to think of them all as one site and not 3 separate ones to get the best possible ratings.

Definitely 301 redirects. Nofollow won't do much to help this problem and canonical tags don't work across domains.

First you have to analyze each of the sites though. Check how many incoming links each site has and how many pages of each site are indexed in each of the search engines. This should make choosing the redirects easier.

Second option (301 redirect) would be great to go with

A 301 is ALWAYS the most reliable solution to any kind of duplicate content issue. Why even consider anything else?

Pick one as your main domain... 301 all page requests on the other domains to the corresponding page on the main domain.
