About to start promoting Mafia Wars Exposed cause it's got a better appeal... wondering if anybody has made money with it or any of the other MW Guides? If so where have you had conversions. This is to affiliates only.
my first sale on clickbank is for mafia wars, and I made the sale within 20 click or so, but after my first sale so far I have 427 clicks but no sale!! and the source of the traffic is the same. I see lot of order form impression for this but not converted into sale
I can only speak for myself (obviously) but I didn't do all that well. I used only AdWords and sent traffic directly to the Vendor's page. As it was my first time promoting a Mafia Wars product, I wanted to see if it would convert before I invested time and money in a pre-sell landing page of my own. My keywords all had a Quality Score of 7/10 or higher, I used a few negative keywords to filter out people looking for free information, and I never paid more than $0.16 USD per click to maintain an average position of 2.09 for my keywords. I sent 335 Clicks to Dominate Mafia Wars (Click Thru Rate of 2.14% on 15,687 Impressions) and I only made one sale. Luckily I was using an AdWords Voucher so it didn't cost me real money but I did treat the account as if it was. I really wanted to see if this product converted because if it did, I would have redirected traffic to my own landing page to try and increase those conversions. I was going to continue with it but after 335 clicks, I figured I had all of the information I needed. Some people wait until 500 or more clicks before making a decision but I decided not to. I then paused the campaign and waited a week to see if any of those visitors came back later to purchase (since there is a 30 or 60 day cookie) and no one did... and no one has (as it has been about a month now) I'm sure there are people making money on this product but I didn't so I moved on to something else. I still keep a link to the Mafia Wars product in my signature but might swap it out for something else soon.
its not a very good converter at all ive had over 500 clicks to a sale lol and this is from high rankings in the search engines spread over 5 websites >.> If your looking for a good converter wait for pete to pop out his products, trust me.
I think I'm going to hold off a day to promote, going to hang out with the gf and get away from the comp and out of my home(have a full-time job on computer + part time affiliate). I would want to be able to have at least 4-5 hours to get the most targeted traffic possible on adwords and keep dabbing into some articles. NYXANO, I'm not trying to call you out or anything... but don't you think it's a conflict of interest to be talking about someone elses product conversions(they could be here on digital point too) when you in fact are promoting the same product in your signature?
Meh conflict of intrests would be me telling a lie so im fine, a stupid thing for me to do would be: dont do mafia wars try out this prduct instead! ive found it a great converter and heres my keywords lol. It takes a lot of clicks for mafia wars to convert and my main site promotes them all not my sig link one b4 you go clickg away and messing with my stats lol. But i have over 200 visits a day so in terms fo traffic v sales its a nice litle investor for me, i made a thread flaming my stats on this product but since ive already invested my time and money... might as well go the full 9 yards.
I'm not sure what you mean? In my posting, I mentioned that I was sending AdWords traffic to Dominate Mafia Wars and I provided my statistics on that promotion. I also said in my last sentence that I still keep a link to that product in my signature but may swap it out soon. I'm not sure where the conflict of interest is? The OP asked if anyone has success promoting Mafia Wars Exposed or any other MW Guides. I provided my stats on Dominate Mafia Wars. I have never promoted Mafia Wars Exposed but since the OP asked about other guides as well, I though I would share my experience.

I promoted MW using facebook PPC ads... and got rush click... I had sale on 20th clicks, Look good , I directly increase daily budget campaign.. boost the clicks, and what happen? after more 500 click , no sales anymore.. only one sale...I had been bankrupt.. I shut down the campaign, and promoting others CB product...
Here's the problem with this niche...poor product. How do I know this, simple I grabbed a few of them off CB to check them out before really sending major hops through to the landers.. Most of the information inside ebook is of poor quality, just a quick visit to the game's major forum and any visitor will find the information they want about the game for FREE. In the end it may convert, but it will take a lot of chucking against the wall to get any sales to stick. This of course is just my opinion.
I have made just 3 sales for this niche. The conversion rates for me are 1:200 without laser targeted traffic. The traffic is all organic.
Some dude from BHW just posted this on his Mafia Wars Cheater (www.mafiawarscheater.com) product thread: If only we could contact affiliate ids to find out how they're promoting! This affiliate above seems to be achieving a steady 1%+ conversion rate.. not to mention the others on there who are getting 3% and up.
Yes there is still money in the niche. Had a product on CB for about 2 weeks and has a gravity of over 20 and rising. I think the key with this niche is where you are getting traffic from. Some people send like 200 hops using banner ads and convert etc..., some people advertising on facebook do very well converting at 1 in 10. Adwords also works with the RIGHT keywords. If anyone needs any help with this niche I have a few pointers for you and also going to post some conversion screenies very soon...
