I'll spell it out again just for Browntown

"Would anyone even notice if you did stop?"

    WTF?
Why are you launching a personal attack on the UK?
    So what are you saying?
The are no UK soldiers in Iraq?
or that we dont have enough?
or they are just not doing what you would expect.
Come on expand on this. This is good.

I have no idea where you are from. I can only see that your location says Zurich - and I am pretty sure we could do without whatever help the Swiss might be providing. I have no problem with the UK efforts in Afghanistan as I plainly said above.

    oh. damn.
Sorry for being so boring and not as creative as new (zionism...neoconism... spiced with some "crusading")..

the taliban, based in Afghanistan allowed refuge for Al-Qaeda, who headquartered the 9/11 attacks where 3,000 Americans died.
Unlike my small puppet country, America is allowed to strike back on the terrorists, anyplace, anytime, anyhow. nobody is counting the bodies, and this is exactly how it should be in that case.

so no oil, no gold, just evil that had to be wiped off the face of the earth, for the benefit of the Afghan people, the middle east, America, and all of humankind.

    I really dont agree.
Afghanistan produces 13,000 metric tonnes of opium per year, which is 95% of the worlds supply.
Since UK and USA invaded supply has increased.
4 million Afghans are employed in its production. A typical farmer gets paid $180 dollars per KG of opium brown (remember he Stranglers song... Golden Brown)
In many parts of Pakistan, and Afghanistan the Taliban is recruiting. Not for religious grounds as we are taught in west but for money.
A typical Taliban soldier is paid $500 dollars a month which 4 times a policemans salary.

    Lets be contoversial
Are the CIA paying the Taliban to fight our own troops?
A mad statement I cant support....
But then again I cant see any evidence not to support it either.

    Imagine that.
Are the CIA making billions producing heroin, organising its distribution?
Paying the right politicians, and creating jobs in Arms Industry in the process.

We have debated onhere many times whether 9/11 was an inside job so lets not get dragged off topic by this. I think it was.

Well the opium market in Afghanistan is worth wholesale.
    13,000 tonnes
    Opium wholesale £20,000 a KG.
1000 KG per tonne 20 Million per Tonnes
    13,000 x 20 mill is 260 Billion dollars
Thats wholesale and this is cut up to 5 times.

Financially I cant think of a reason WHY NOT to invade Afghanistan

    1. Anyone from Israel asking for senseless killing to wipe out "evil" REALLY should take a look back in history books to around 1914 if you want to get most of the story, or 1939 for the cliffnotes.

Really...An Israeli calling for indiscriminate killing of vengence...Wow so much for "Never Forget"

    2. Thank you Valley for that most enjoyable econ lesson. Surprised they don't invade Morocco, 80some% of Cannabis is either fabricated or distributed there.

I seem to recall my country being attacked by a group based in Afghanistan.

Sometimes the reason behind things is actually the most obvious. We were fucking attacked. We responded to eliminate those that are acting and threatening to kill Americans - and those that harbor them.

Do you have a problem with that?

I dont trust a word that the US goverment says. Nor your media.
There are/ were Muslim terrorist training grounds right round the world. They get iced as a matter of normality and it never makes the news. There is nothing wrong with defending yourself.

Afghanistan is different. This is an expensive ground war. It is not about terrorism. In fact it is more likely to create sympathy and terrorism.
AQN was always just a bunch of old men and young guys. Radicals. They would have struggled to hire a minibus let alone steer a jumbo jet. You give them too much credit for their abilities. AQN have always been car bombers, the RPG firers, the EOD, the culvert bomb. Luke Sywalker could not have piloted a plane into that tower. It reeks of a GPS transponder guiding the planes in.
I think USA has more to fear from within than outside.

    Your a clever lad.
Work it out for yourself. It just does not add up budget wise. Your smarter than the news that you read.

Well then, that creates a problem.

    Do you believe Aljazeera?

Yeah, bin Laden and his chronies have been blowing smoke up everyone's arse for the better part of a decade making unsubstantiated claims of responsibility. Osama is in fact part of a larger conspiracy involving the highest levels of the US govt. and the entire western media conglomerate. It is all part of a plan to create a new world order.

Man never walked on the moon and a UFO crashed in New Mexico.

    Nope I dont.
I do believe though that a dollar aint worth a dollar and all that smoke your on about is just to prop it up.
I dont know anything about a New World Order but you have to admit that America would welcome a New World Currency.
