Sales have never been sooo bad (ZERO) for me :(

I have been hitting ZERO for last few weeks. I never made a lot but a $20-$100 a week always came in. Last few weeks have been pathetic. I use article marketing and I even doubled my efforts - have submitted over 150 articles and 0 SALES. This has NEVER happened before... What is wrong :(

Its hard to tell whats wrong exactly without looking into it but first I would check all the links from your landing page to the order form to make sure its all in order.

This might sound stupid but your hop link is still correct yes? Your tiny urls still valid? If thats all okay then:

Has the market dried up, use googl keyword tracker and look at the search trends
if not then maybe you need to do a small revamp of your site, add more new keyworded articles and make it look all tasty... add a signup box to get a mailing list [i jsut started this seems to be going well].

Try Youtube videos, use a social bookmarking submitter, there are many tactics you can use. I use to get 1 sale every other day for $50 and then suddenly i got nothing for a week so i trippled my efforts and its paid off, getting a sale a day now from that product, and still trying new things to try and reduce bounce rates and use new and old traffic resource tricks. Sometimes its just bad luck -

Most sales of CB are apparently done in the winter season i keep getting told so hang in there :D

The US economy doing so bad and unemployment so high probably isn't helping. Sometimes few sales over a few weeks happens. Redouble your traffic getting efforts, and look forward to the weeks with lots of sales.

Come on now. The economy has been in the toilet for 18 months - it's actually starting to recover at this point.

Sounds like a case of the Clickbank gnomes to me. These little guys sneak out of the closest every few weeks and cause havoc with your conversions. Do you link directly to the vendor's page or use your own landing page? If you have your own page, make some modifications to it - that will often help.

That also happen to me.. keep fighting...
yes, just make sure your clickbank hop is correct...
Please check vendor's landing page.. is any opt in form...?
If visitors come to vendor's landing page through our affiliate link, but no direct sales, visitors fill email ini vendor opt in, after several times follow up, sales happen.. I don't know in this situation.. do we still get commission?...

My CB conversions have been spectacularly rotten the whole of September.

It's like a nasty reality check not to depend too much on this network.

    If I did, I'd starve :(

Have you tried injecting a little humor into your articles? You know making it punchy and making them curious.

yeah right..after a few weeks with 0 sales, investing in PPC is a good idea.

PPC should be done for longer periods and with some basic experience, to test everything and maybe reinvesting the money you already made. With a low morale like his, PPC is the worse idea.

Otherwise, is just lost money, especially with CB products.

Check your traffic sources, vendor landing pages, number of hops...

    Exactly.

The same exact thing has happened to me. There I was rolling along making several sales for the past several months....and now sales are just trickling in every now and then. I quickly then realized....I MUST start diversifying between different products, different networks, and different ways of earning online.

I tell ya, when sales go from being consistent and plenty to extremely inconsistent and dormant, that can really have an adverse effect on your motivation level! That's why I've also started a little thing I'm doing to keep myself motivated and that is to avoid checking sales until the end of the week. That way I'm more focused and I won't have a lack of sales or poor hop stats to get me down.

*DISCLAIMER* Not checking stats is definitely something I would NOT recommend to anyone using PPC! :D

I have the same thing going on. I honestly Clickbank is going in the crapper. there are so many products on there but 99.8% are junk. there are only lke 43 products with a gravity over 100, payout of $25 or higher and refund rate less than 3%.

Remember the acne niche. the ebook was a huge hit but who wants to spend $37 on a book on how to get rid of acne. I think more people are going toward physical products and not informational....unless you get videos and "hold me by the hand" guideance like a Commission Blueprint.

Just a quick question: do you test your products before you write a load of articles for them? Do you also track to see what keywords people are using to find your articles?

Why would anyone do that? Obviously the best way of making money is spending dozens of hours writing hundreds of articles on the first product you find. Then you just cross your fingers and the money starts rolling in!

I can say that I went from converting at 1:50 for over 2 years, to converting at 1:700+ today.... something is not right!

This is not a small sample size either....over 100 hops per day.

Products on other networks are fine - no surprise!
