Is the download gateway the new gateway or is that only half of the surprise?

Yes that is correct. The File Download Gateway will be released tomorrow (Thursday) at Noon.

I have a question for you guys. What is the best place to freely host files? We would like to recommend a file hosting site on our Gateway Wizard, but we're not sure which file hosting websites allow direct links to the download, rather than a direct link to a page with the download on it.

We're going to be working hard today to make sure the new Gateway is perfect when it is released tomorrow. Thank you all for your ongoing support.

Troy, will it be possible to put few download links for ONE file? I mean few hosts like megaupload, rapidshare etc. ?

Im asking because bigger files are always packed in few parts.

 

I'll recommend you to put rapidshare.com , its what the most people use including me

 

i am having a great doubt about promotion,
i opened a "family guy" tv show site and added some 30 videos and description,,,,, the question is,,,,,,,

do i need to promote my site for a specific keyword,,,,,,

or

google will send traffic if i keep on updating my site,,,,,,,

 

don't use rs, they make you wait for a while. use mediafire.com, no direct links but no waiting time either. And a user can download any amount of files simultaneously, while most of other hosts make you wait like 15 minutes before you could start another download.

Yes it is a bit annoying and time consuming...
There are so many things involved to get a website on the first page of SERPs, that's why I recommended the website, I read a lot of things but I still haven't "got it" perfectly, some websites rank in the first places, others don't, some indexes all the pages, others don't... It's crazy..

 

i am somewhat good with SEO and ranked my website in top 10,,,

TV show related keywords seems very competitive and it will take some 3 months to get in top 10,,,,,
