So, somehow my website has been infiltrated with bad neighborhood text links. I am receiving a google penalty for these and it makes me angry cause I've never heard of these sites. Question is, how can I find out WHERE on my site these links are located at? i have around 156 pages and I been looking through them all but cannot seem to find them. ANY help would be greatly appreciated.
Are you sure it's links on your site not to your site? Anyway if you know which 'bad' sites you're linking out to you can go to Yahoo! site explorer and type linkdomain:badsite.com site:www.yoursite.com If not try these link checkers http://www.google.com/search?q=bad+...s=org.mozilla:en-US:official&client=firefox-a hope this helps
Ok, I think i found my problem. I use Wordpress for my blog, and a couple of the plugins I was using sneakily linked to a few of thier BAD neighborhood domains.
