    Hello
    i have a question
what to do when someone deleted my text link posted on his website, for wich i paid. the term was one month, but he deleted it after 2 weeks .i paid with paypal, and when i paid i wrote the time i pay for the link.also,i have private messages on this forum . he told me that has some problem, and will refund the money if he doesn't resolve it,but now i get no answer .i will wait for a few days and then i will take action .
until then,i would like to know what i can do if he won't refund the money

    thanks

I would take action now, because it can take a while on paypall!
    Open a dispute!

You're basically screwed because Paypal wont get involved in digital transactions like link sales. If it's only a couple bucks then just add him to your "scammer" list of people never to deal with again on DP (mine is 4 pages long, as I keep track of scammers here).

If its a lot of money, then offer to make his life miserable. Post that he's a scammer in all his threads to let everyone else know not to do business with him.

That's a really big reason not to buy links. People are scammers, and they prey on noobs and desperate people that don't know any better.

Devil's advocate: what was your performance expectation for 1 month?

If links aren't permanent they don't help.

If you are sure have been screwed:
Just try to open a dispute in paypal. Hope you can claim your fund.
You can also add he to scammer list on DP.

This in an excellent suggestion. If the person is not completely nuts, g=he or she should come to senses and either refund the money or deliver the promised service.

(But what does make no sense: Why would somebody post a link for 2 weeks and then take it down, instead of just leave the thing there. )

well,he told me he had some problems with the database, and all the links were deleted .all the links were deleted indeed. and told me that he if will not be able to resolve the probelm in 3 days,he will refund.but a week passed, and i don't receive any answers from him .it's not just a few bucks,as it was a very high PR link.i paid for a month, but i would have kept the link there for a long time.i don't know yet if he is a scammer or not .. i will wait 24 hours from now,and if i don't receive any answer ,i will make all my best to say that he and his website is a scammer .
    thank you all for reply

Did you not research him before? I don't know why people do transactions of money they are not willing to part with on PayPal with people on this site.

If you are not willing to loose the money, don't pay via PayPal. Use an escrow service or something.

Just leave a negative comment on his iTrader, but actually provide some sort of proof in it.
