Ok so I'm 15 and I'm looking to join a PPC network but don't know which. I would like to join bidvertiser but they seem to be full of scamming? I googled around there were SOME testimonials, there were others saying it was a scam... So as me being 15, I need some PPC networks that accept 13+ aged people. Does anyone know of anywhere? Also I want to earn money, so I think that means becoming a publisher? And I don't want to give away my SSN if I don't have to. I will use Google Adsense but I'm not old enough yet. So, which PPC network is the best for 13+, doesn't scam, and you don't have to submit your SSN? Thanks, Jhebodia PS what's ROI? thanks --EDIT-- Is Scribefire QuickAds good?
ROI stands for Return On Investment - a way to calculate how you are doing. I found a site that has a way to calculate it that should help you http://www.blitzmediadesign.com/seo/web-roi.html
I think you have lots to learn and you're starting young which is great. Getting accepted into a network should be no problem regardless of age. however, most are going to want a SSN or some reason NOT to have one... don't know the legalities of this but it shouldn't be too much of an issue. Best thing to do is start building and start contacting the networks too... then when you have the traffic they'll be knocking on your door!
you may use your friend over 18yrs or your parent's bank account for payments its easy .. then you'll be able to join any ppc network you want.
Nothing wrong with bidvertiser, actually they are good for what they are. You will find unhappy, disgruntled affiliates with all networks and no network is perfect. I haven't heard of Scribefire before. If you live outside the USA you do not need to submit a SSN, if you live inside, you must submit your SS or if incorporated, your company tax id. As others, have suggested, until you are 18 you will need to work with a older friend or relative and do your business in their name. Which ppc network is best for you depends mostly on how you generate traffic and to a lesser degree, which countries your traffic comes from. Hope it helps Worthen
Adwords is the program that the advertisers use. (merchants) Adsense is the program that publishers use (website builders)
any legit company is going to have to get your ssn and b/c of your age probably will have to have a parent sign off on it.
I may stick with Scribefire Quickads; they payout and don't require SSN. Anyways I'm in the USA, and most of my traffic will be from the US and IS from the US and comes from Google/Yahoo etc and then from backlinks. I'll be sure to ask my parents but in general I'd like to know about the best PPCs. A friend told me about WidgetBucks, has anyone heard of it? http://www.widgetbucks.com/ and the link to Scribefire Quickads is: http://www.scribefire.com/2008/07/01/scribefire-quickads-is-born/ It's invite only but I had signed up for an invite around that time, and my account is still there .
