When we talk about SEO writing technique, then each writer has their own unique style but I was wondering that how does one guarantee which style to follow so that your article or written content ranks high on search engines. I mean, yes, we can follow KW density. We can even follow natural placement of KW's but then how many times one must use the same KW? Should a writer go for using a mix of similar and closely related KW's ? And if yes, then how to go about that? If there is any other method that you guys follow or know about then please describe that too. I would like to learn from your experience and methods used by other writers... Please Elaborate...
There is no method. Write natural, G can spot unnatural stuffing a mile away. Include related words and if you want a post to be truly "SEO'd" then make it ridiculously long and include as many related keywords as you can think of. Get backlinks for each of those keywords, and see which ones that post ranks for. Then you've got yourself a winner if it drives traffic too.
First use ezinearticles to submit one of your articles as an experiment. If you article is overloaded with keywords they will instantly advise you to reduce keyword density, before you can submit it. Secondly, you can use several keywords in one article, but personally I prefer to use 3-4 keywords in 500 w. article not to tire out reader and harm my reputtation in the eyes of search engines.
If you make your writing tight and focused, never wavering from the topic, your content will be naturally SEO'd (and Google will like you more). Don't worry about how many times you need to use the key phrase--instead, focus on creating an excellent, well focused article. If you do that, it naturally SEO optimizes itself.
The other seo writing formula also is to use keyword research tool and choose keywords with low competing pages but with high number of daily searches
I used to write with keyword ideas in my head from the start of the post, which works fairly well if SEO is your #1 priority. What I've found to be much more effective is writing on a fairly specific topic without keyword ideas, and adding them into your article once it's completed. Read over it a few times, implement keywords after you research them, and incorporate them naturally into your article. The finished product is much easier to read than your average built-for-SEO article.
well, guess it all depends on how competitive the niche is. But having a mix of primary and long tail keywords/keyphrases will help give more importance to the page, as you will be pleasing the googlebot from all angles.
So, what I have gained so far is that while writing I should pick one main Keyword and use it in the heading as well as in the first and last paragraph of the article for sure. Apart from this, I also need to pick up 2-3 supporting keywords which will be used in the article along with the main Keyword a few times. I hope I have got it right to some extent..
1. Use google.com/sktool to find keywords, which have some decent search volume 2. Check in Google, if topic related to that keyword is already covered by many strong, popular websites. If yes, you will have a hard time to come on the 1st Google page. Strong site is one that is old, has high PR...and appears oftne on 1st G. page for many search terms from a certain field. 3. Find other good keywords, according to 1. and 2. and put them in THE TITLE of your article (up to 65 characters long) 4. Search and write a good article. Link to the new article from all related articles on your site. Place links in forum signatures, write articles on article sites like Hubpages, Associatedcontent, etc. and link to your article (put desired keywords in the anchor text of the link)
he main purpose of SEO writing is to include the specific keywords in it. The client having website to promote his products or services may ask you to write an article inserting some keywords in it. When a reader finds your article interesting to read then he may click on the hyperlink word and he will then be directed to the client's site. The reader may then end up in purchasing the product. In this way the content should be engaging and interesting to read.
Thanks for such a great tip, but I want to know one more thing. Don't you think that too long titles hurt the SEO prospect of the article?
First of all, good SEO writing is based on good relevant keywords. Here are the basics of keywords selection: http://www.skalfa.com/press/seo-pt-i-choosing-keywords.html
By my experience, no they don't. You should avoid keyword stuffing - using variants of the same keyword, for example: chronic, long lasting, prolonged disease.
