Do you think your site will get somewhat higher priority in organic SERPs if you use Google adwords for it (e.g. $10 / day) compared to if you don't use any? Consider all other conditions remains the same.
I do not think google gives higher organic serps to websites who use adwords. But, sites that buy adwords get more traffic than sites that don't, and sites that get more traffic naturally get linked to more often than sites that get less traffic. Exposure leads to more exposure.
Google will give no priority whether you use adwords or not... but I strongly believe that it will craw you website faster (if it's a new website) but it's just a theory.
Yeah, I wonder... Seems like Google does whatever they like: http://googleblog.blogspot.com/2009/09/help-and-learn-from-others-as-you.html
absolutly, un-equiviquably, 100% NO - It would be unfair for google to allow people extra serp points for buying their advertising services. It also defeats the point of having an algorythm to find natural results if you can alter it by buying ranks. It also would reduce their adwords earnings over time - as far as google is cncerned, the lower a site ranks naturally, the more it will spend on sponsored listings i have never used adwords and all my sites rank highly
Google have clearly specified that their Search Algorithm ( which is responsible for SERP ) has no effect of Adwords.. You cant expect your site to be in google's index if you are there in Adwords...
Thanks for the responses. Now I feel relaxed as I was a bit confused before when some of my friends told me about the priority levels.
When your website get extra traffic your serp will improve, therefore if you make adwords advertising ofcourse your serp will get better .
lol even after all the replies above - still this. I'm not saying it's above google to do so - because business is business - but it makes no sense for them to even consider doing this. IF they did - they'd advertise it. Otherwise - they're taking dollars away from Adwords. It makes more business sense for Google to do the exact opposite. Think about it. ;-)
If you are using Adwords that you get more traffic simply because you are advertising your site, I dont think Google gives priority to Adwords users in SERP.
