I need a logo created which will be used in a header image for a new site I am working on.

    This project is two parts.

    Part one

Create a logo design that can be used in print media, business cards, banners etc.

Logo must include the words Snow Plowing Directory and an image design using the letters SPD.

I will need full scalable vector files and PDF's of the logo design. In color and black and white.

    Part 2

The second part of the project is to put the logo created above into a header image for the site.

The site is a directory for snow plowing contractors and vendors so try to incorporate this into the header image.

Header image must match the look and feel of the current site and fit into the current area designated for the header image.

    Here is the site.
    http://www.snowplowingdirectory.com

Winning entry will have a first chance at creating banners and additional artwork for the site.

I am looking for a quick turnaround and would like to end this contest by Wed. If I do not have a suitable entry I will hold thr contect open until Friday.

    Thanks and Good luck.

    Rob

Looks nice can you make the SPD a lttle more defined. So it is a little easier to tell what it is. I like the fact that it looks kindof abstract so don't define it too much just a bit more.

On the right of the D there seems to be part of a dot what is that? Looks a little out of place.

    Thanks for the entry.

I like this.. can you make part in front of teh S that looks like a plow blade not so sloped and curved. so on the bottom curve going left shorten that up a bit.

I would also like to see some more done with the SPD so it didn't look so plain.

Ok I see it now.... The curve to the plow was so big I didn't notice it.. Great idea though I like the concept. Can you change it up a bit so the curve is not so big.

    Thanks

I like this better you can tell now with that snow in there. Great idea. Im not sure if it would be possible to have it look more like the actual curve from a plow truck. Less curve. Not sure how you would close the bottom of the D though.

very cool.... I would like to see it have more effect. maybe a drop shadow or something to wake it up. Its a neat design just looks a little boring.

Here are some good examples of the actual curve on a snow plow blade. Working a curve like into the logo would be great.
