Website evaluation?

I feel that putting a thread in the BST Website section isn't very good if i'm not really looking to sell it.

How much do you think I could sell www.remotetweet.com for? It's starting to get some nice hits and I haven't started building backlinks yet.

I don't think anyone can truly answer that. Technically, it's worth $7.00-$10.00, until it's making money. But, if someone wanted the Domain name for branding, you could get more out of it.

The best price you can get is around $100 coz it involve coding of the tools and the web setup.
But don't expect those price if you sell it now since its new and few body known it.
My advise for you is,promote it and when there are many user using it,then sell it.

Make some twitter application or widget and start to promote it. You'll get decent amount of money.

Anything you'd suggest? I've made quite a few applications so far and need another project to sell one.

It depends on the amount of traffic this site gets. But more importantly, how much does this site make? If it isn't making anything, it's not worth much.

Right you are, but sometimes people will pay a bit for it as they have more knowledge of making money than I do and see a potential.

I need some tips on SEO also. 599,000 results for "remote tweet" yet my website is nowhere near the top 5 pages?

    valuation is hard

what you need is a BUYER

BUYER changes everything. you have a big indepence movie forum. visitors are high quality. you have 100.000 hits daily. amazing forum. but you dont make money.

you want to sell it here, dp - some guys can offer 10k maximum.

but - there is a movie company, needs that. can buy that for 500k

so - do something, which has a potential buyer. tweet - find a potential buyer

    best!

It's value is based off of how much income it produces plus any public opinion of it.
Generally, a year's worth of gross income is the yardstick for the first part, and the second is your best guess.
If you're not making any money, and nobody has heard of your site? It's worth the domain name cost at best.

Thank you. Unfortunately no-one wants me to do small PHP jobs, even $5 would be enough to pay for my hosting bill. It seems i'll have to take the website down.
