I'm sure we've all heard the classics when we speak of rock (Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin ect.) In your opinion which is the best old-rock band which has given a lot for the generations to come? For me it's Deep Purple. They are amazing I can listen to their whole discography non-stop.
This should be a great thread... Still big faves for Classic Rock are Boston, Rush, Kansas, Purple Hard Rock - Queensryche, Iron Maiden, Dream Theater Pop - Berlin, Missing Persons, RTZ << ex members of Boston
Glad to hear that there are so many fans of ROCK on DP! That music is amazing especially the legends... they never die and they've left us their legacy \m/

Rolling Stones. Anyone who can produce gems like Sympathy, Gimme Shelter, Brown Sugar, Midnight Rambler, Honky Tonk deserves Lord-ship. Then again, you can't always get what you want.
I was waiting for someone to mention the Rolling Stones.. I'd also have to go with the Beatles..legends in music, their work is simply timeless.
