From the top nav bar up. I like. From the top nav bar down I don't as I feel the left and right columns are to wide but I have to see it when it is done. For the type of site it is I do not think it is to much.

To be honest I can not answer that question now as it depends on the rest of the page. Your top header includes a phone number which helps build trust but I have to see the rest of the page to make sure you keep my trust. Things like physical address on contact page, images of work done, list of areas covered, BBB logo, testimonials, etc all play a part in this along with page layout. Although the top is ok depending on what you do to the 'meat' of the page if the over all feel stays that way. On a side note: If you could attach a blog to your site that included helpful tips for your visitors it would help with: Crawl rate Backlinks Customer loyalty Name recognition Trust "it shows you know what your doing"
kudos ..... thier is a blo lol here it is www.oahu-handyman.com/blog this gets me traffic already .... it is word press to .... type oahu handyman in google and see how ranks # 1 .... it is I me the Oahu handyman ..... the game is virtually under rated because my only competition is yellow pages an service magic .... so this allows me to dominate that sector out righ ....
Your logo looks very good. I like the tools underneath. After that you got carried away. It would look a lot cleaner with one or two images and move the sales text down on the page. I understand it is a rough draft. You need to get it more finished and resubmit it for review. There just isn't much to comment on at this point. Pretty up the header and take it from there. I have not a clue what the footer is all about.
