so as im sure you see, i am 17 and wont be 18 for a couple of months. i am looking for money like now. i am actually hoping to get internet straight to my room so as to not worry bout jacking someone elses internet. i know its illegal. so dont ride me bout it. but i need to know if this article marketing is something i would be able to do at 17. i am not a newb in the tech arena or the internet arena either. i just simply need to know if thsi is possible for someone who isnt exactly legal. and if i can, say i was able to make like $600 a year, would i need to fill out some tax form to claim any of this?
With Article marketing you would not see money right away, instead down the road you would see comissions. $600/year you would not have to file a tax form.
ya when i was researching the article marketing, i had come under the impression that i would be able to see some money, even if a little amount within like a month. and the $600 thing was just a figure because i think it was click bank that said for people making more than that, they may need to file for taxes.
One thing you can consider which will help you short term and long term without needing to worry about not being legal is to write articles as a ghostwriter. You can get paid right away, there is huge need for articles written, and in a way it can be paid training. You will learn from your customers about what niches are profitable, etc. There are many young people making money in any number of ways. I wish I had these kind of opportunities when I was 17. Good luck to you. Merigot
so you mentioned being a ghostwriter. this meaning that i do put in my info so i can get paid but my useername would be something obscure that like no one would be able to track back to me?
I don't think there's actually a law that prevents you from doing affiliate marketing at 17. I know there are plenty of people that started doing affiliate marketing when they were under 18. You just have to pay your taxes like anyone else.
First off the money issue it really depends on your country. In Canada we can earn a certain amount tax free regardless of age. So I wouldn't really worry about this yet... this should not be a reason to stop or even not starting. Second. article marketing is effective but can be slow. You can always look into SEO or PPC too... they require a bit of money but you can also make money much faster too. The ghost-writing option can also be a good option. The idea is you basically just write articles for people on any subject. It can take some time but you can definitely make some money doing this. Oh and age has no factor on the internet. Unless you're 80+ and TYPE IN ALL CAPS. lol. let me know if you have more q's
If you have some basic knowledge of how it works I am sure you can make that amount easily. I am 18 too and I already make around 1500$ monthly (with the best incentive network CPALead).
Don't be stupid, age doesn't really matter. I'm 16 and have been making online from affiliate marketing for a while.
