Hello, Today I forgot one of my passwords, and I tried many times to remember it but I have got 6 passwords on the internet.. What about you, How many passwords do you have?
I normally run around 5-6 different passwords and the user names varies upon what type of account it is.. financial, forum, email etc.
I have many passwords but categorised : for any forum same password. for gmail, yahoo mail, MSN mail one passord for messengers one password
I have a different password for just about everything I do, so at least 50. I say at least, because the figure is hardly exact. I don't know how many are still valid for sites I signed up for a few years back, and never visited since. A while back I went through them all and asked for my details to be removed from those places I don't use. It's incredible what a trail of forgotten logins you build up after a few years.
I have two....(really I know...) it's really bad but...i need something I can remember and its soo bad that I tend to type in one of the passwords everywhere without thinking...I'm really absent minded..so yeah I pretty much have two, one for not so important things and one for important things...
i only use one, for everything. i use to use one, then i decided to change it, and now i use another for anythign new i sign up to.
i used to use my girl's info (like DOB, phone number, date of first date ..etc) so i won't forget those stupid detail... i am still using it even she dump me...hope some girl can change those password soon
I use lots of passwords which results in me forgetting them a couple of times too. the Recover password option comes in handy quite a few time. But we have to for Internet Security ...
I have a minimum 8 digit password (including letters, numbers and special cases), for every seperate thing I use and require one for. These are all changed every month.
hehe its my private info, wouldnt tell you, Originally Posted by Phynder I have 86 as of today (sorry for this, too lazy to quote ) its not hard to save all those pass if you have a software named roboform. never used it. but i heard its good.
I now use a password management tool for the 100+ user credentials I have to manage. Since using that I stick to random, strong passwords of at least 96 bits (12+ characters like IYUg_yUjU3&oibGdqv%gh_). Much more secure.
I have more problems remebering the usernames than the passwords!!! Have at least 12 different passwords and many more usernames
