When uploading videos to youtube for the purpose of video marketin, how many videos do you make for one product? Is video marketing a good source of traffic to a blog/landing page? How many videos pointing to one page does it take to achieve 50 visitors a day? Thes are all questions that I have because Im working on setting up a marketing campaing using youtube.
I don't do it all what I can say is while uploading videos to Youtube make sure you use keywords in tags and description. If the video is good one such video is enough to bring some decent traffic.
Well it depends on the type of site you're promoting and your rankings. There's a lot of stuff involved.
Good content videos related to your niche are a great marketing tool. Right now I'm doing a playthrough of a video game where I write out a script of jokes, a la Mystery Science Theater 3000. The new installments always gets hits and my Youtube channel links to my blog, which is clicked often. Before this project, I've done a series of popular video game commentaries which got me over 3000 subscribers, which helped feed my initial fanbase. Focus on great content as a subtle marketing effort and it'll definitely attract attention.
We just created a pile of video tutorials, while we are hoping they are effective for marketing that was not the reason we made them, they were made to help customers better use are software. We looked at support questions to see where people had issues, and made videos to satisfy the needs our customers seemed to have.
I make a bunch of videos on every product I can get my hands on. In April 2007 I opened my youtube account and started posting my own home made videos. In the past 2 1/2 years I have posted around 297 videos. Currently I'am trying to make a video everyday, except the weekends. Youtube is my forums #7 source of targeted traffic, right behind google images, bing and right next to yahoo - and at one time youtube provided as much traffic as yahoo. When done properly, youtube can provide your sites a source of very targeted traffic.
