I've got this same problem. While search engines are supposed to deliver results based on what you are looking for, it seems as if advertising has taken over. In some cases you do get relevant listings that actually offer the information you need, but for the most part, it's junk.

I suppose other search engine providers will eventually take notice of this and provide us with a TRUE search engine. Who knows?

I know... I LOVED the old Northern Light, then they changed their format to a commercial on-site only search system. Now they have a news search site at http://nlsearch.com but it searches ONLY news so it's not exactly what I need. Though it's still very good for what it does.

Well, I wasn't familiar with the site so I visited it. The first thing I saw was "Is a Honkey eating a Ritz considered cannibalism?" So I don't think it's what I want.

google is the best in this business...
Just you should know how to search it correctly..
I mean you should give correct string in search bar, then you get accurate results..

Actually, if you read my earlier posts, you'll see I DO know how to search Google. And for research purposes, no it's really not the best. The advertising is such a hindrance that finding real expert information is almost impossible. If you're looking to build an online business and get your site out to the most people - yes, Google all the way! But for SEARCHING to find INFORMATION - not salesletters! No, Google isn't it. :)
