I don't care if techcrunch (zionists...lol) wants FB to ban anti-Israel groups, they can want that if they want to. FB can ban if they want to. If the group in question is just a hate group then ban them - I don't care. I am assuming you are involved with the hate group in question. What FB group is it?

 

I have mixed feelings. Although I understand the disgruntlement, I also pretty keenly feel the lessons learned from the Interwar period, which included a feeble League of Nations, set cheek-by-jowl against national retrenchment from international engagement - a dangerous cocktail; I think this, along with the structural weaknesses of the League, made for a dangerous globe - Beggar-thy-Neighbor policies and World War II.

Guess I feel that if a relatively empowered and participatory U.N. sucks, the alternative is a helluva lot worse.

One does not *choose* where they are born. Being "Israeli" is just a matter of birth, not a behavior.

That's a very simple concept to grasp. There's a difference between objecting to someone's behavior vs objecting to their nationality. It does not make someone a "zionist" to object to blatant racism or hatred of an entire national populace... it makes them a thinking human being.
