Increase CTR will not make you more money

    I have ways (specifically what color to use, etc.) to get these CTRs on a particular site:
    1% = 8 cents/click
    2% = 5 cents/click
    5% = 2 cents/click

    Why is it like this, it's ridiculous my eCPM stays about the same or gets worse no matter what I do?

    how many and what size of ad units have you got on each page?

    I find that having less adverts displayed (i.e. less ad units or smaller ad units) fixes this problem.

    With 1 advert I get 8 cents/click 1% CTR. I choose 2 advert now because it average out the best but now being smart priced!

    By adding more ad blocks you are likley to get some lower value ads.

    So the less ads you have on a web page, the more money you will get on clicks??? Did I understand this right???
