Does adwords allow you to open more than one account? I just received a $100 adwords coupon. When I tried to use it on my existing account I got turned down because my account is too old. Can I just set up a second account so I can use this coupon?
I don't recommend it. You are allowed only one Adwords account. If they catch you, they will close both accounts. I got one of those $100 coupons too in the mail this week. It's good only for new accounts and it says on it non-transferable. It even had my company name on it. I threw it out.
If you set the account up in a different name (say your sister/brother) and use a different credit card and different website, you'll be fine. Whether it's worth the effort is up to you.
Don't do so. What will you do if your only account gets banned, and you lose all your money ! Thus don't do it.
i have mcc - it one acount that contain more acount i want but its only for have customers acounts or if my first acount start to be very big to manage. but dont use coupon twice
Google will only allow you a second account, if the 2 accounts are targetting different keywords. If they catch you and can see you're double bidding, they will take action. It's as simple as that really.
I have multiple adwords accounts with no problems. Just need to think things thru in detail and you too can have more than one.
I have also had multiple accounts for a couple of years with no problems. You have to use different email addresses and credit cards for each account and never bid on the same keywords in both accounts - that will get you in trouble. I use the multiple accounts to remedy the max campaign limitation. Good luck!
you can have as many accounts as you like provided you are bidding on different keywords and using different domains
Just open a second account and link them via My Client Center or MCC. If you are not signed up for MCC here is the link It should be pretty easy to get, it was for me. And as mentioned, don't ever bid on the same keywords in the two different accounts.
> And as mentioned, don't ever bid on the same keywords in the two different accounts. So why have a second account? Why not use the first account? The logic escapes me. To me, that's also inviting trouble because Google says so right there "Don't open multiple accounts or you'll get in trouble". You don't need an account for each domain you have. You can create campaigns for as many different domains as you want.
Because then you would be trying to basically corner the market which is illegal. Additionally Google would then see you have two accounts and close one. As for what Google says, and what is the reality, the fact is each and every registered web business you own, can have an Adwords account. However if you are not running things as a registered business, then its best to head on down the road and steer clear of something that worries you.
