Does Sandbox Exists?

In a session with Google Engineer Matt Cutts, when being asked that does Sandbox exists….Matt said here comes the audience part? How many feel there is a sandbox? How many feel there is no such thing as a sandbox? SEOs normally split down the line. There are some things in the algorithm that may be perceived as a sandbox that doesn't apply to all industries. He knows it works to keep some spam out.

I think it exists, because Google always prefers fresh and original content, for this reason only google has given place to News sites in the top search results. And most of all it is one of the best way to stop spamming as much as it can be.

 

better trust there are sand box exist, because there are many people have experience about "sand box"...

Yes guys you are right i have also get exp. about that there is a Sandbox and Google is using this option very strictly.

So don't get spam your self.

definitely yes. first handful of sites got sandboxed, but as i got better at regulating my site building activities, i experienced with fewer and fewer sites as i built them.

 

I had never heard of The Sandbox before reading these threads. As a relatively new site (6 months), I can't really be sure that it exists or not because some of my indexed pages appear in search results whilst others do not. The pages each have a different keyword, so the whole site hasn't been sandboxed.

And I doubt that Google goes to the trouble of saying "I'll put that page in the sandbox and leave that one alone"!
