I have to agree with others. Facebook is a great source of traffic. The secret is learning how to find people interested in your niche. Posting your blog link and keeping them updated will surely achieve this. But, you have to keep updating your blog, and let your friends on facebook know that you updated it. Since Im a beginner Im going to concentrate on twitter and master that before working on getting facebook working. So, Im still working on getting all the followers that I can. I gain approx 50 a day right now. I read your twitter page, good advice. Making more than 5 tweets a day might be a good number and it will keep people following you. At the same time, you have to remember that only approx 2% of your followers are actually going to click your link. So what you want to do is post actual tweets. Make jokes, give some news...then once in a while throw in a plug for your site/blog. How many you tweet is really upto you. And if your tweeting you might as well as get paid for it.
