Hypnosis ? ? Has Anyone Tried It ? ?

Watching a tv show the other day about Hypnosis and just curious to see if anyone has experiences to share ?
They talked about past lives, past life regression, healing current life problems etc.

Curious to hear everyone's opinions and stories

 

I've seen it on television and it looks very interesting. I've heard that it doesn't work though. I've never had it done to me but have heard from others that it only relaxes you

 

For some people it does work, I guess you have to be a little open to it though

I have been Hypnotized by a professional Workathomeshop, went for a regression session with my husband, ended up I did a transference (an incident) on my husband when he was only two years old. Mind you I knew nothing about this incident at all on my husband, but was talking like a two year old and related every detail as to what was said and what happened.

Hypnosis is true I have been hypnotized in a hypnosis show, I really don`t remeber a shit. But I was the usual chicken (My girlfriend told me). Thought you can hypnotize a guy to do something he don`t want to (Like rob a bank).

 

I had it done by a Dr. one time, it was very strange, I don't remember what happened but after I came out, I was seeing 3 different color shades in front of my eyes for a couple of days, I didn't enjoy it at all and will never do it again.

 

Not yet, I don't really believe in hypnotism. I'm a fan of Freud's psychoanalysis instead.

 

I have trained as a hypnotherapist. I know that it is useful in helping people.

 

So it has helped some in your case ?
Have you ever helped someone stop smoking with this method ? Just curious

I havent tried this one but I have heard a lot of stuff about this ..They say it is baseless and could not be taken as an absolute truth but it is really helpful to psychiatrist

 

I spoke with a psychiatrist. she said some guys who have been hypnotized because of cigarette habit going to shore and smoking while watching the see just after they left the hospital.

 

I was hypnotized one time for analgesia during a tooth surgery. It worked for me well.

I watched a medical show about a year ago, a lady was allergic to anisectic so she had her gallbladder removed under hypnosis, amazing stuff...
