Hi Dp, I've tried numerous times at online marketing. And with the downfall of the economy, I have collected my willpower to give it yet another go. However I am not sure what Search Engine Optimization, Social Networks, Link Development, Pay Per Click Advertising, and Affiliate Programs are. If you guys could take some time and explain what each of those topics are, and what is the best way for beginners to learn how to use it. Thank you, Andrew
You will clearly fail at online marketing. Why? Because you unable to do basic research and find out for yourself what these very basic terms mean. Ever heard of Google? Wikipedia? Heck - just looking around this forum will help you find everything you need. The fact that you made a thread like this proves you wont be successful. Sorry for the brutal honesty.
Here, I decided to be nice: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Search_engine_optimization http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Social_network_service http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pay_per_click http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Affiliate_program
Internet marketing, also referred to as i-marketing, web marketing, online marketing, or eMarketing, is the marketing of products, or, services over the Internet. The Internet has brought and media to a global audience. The interactive nature of Internet marketing, both, in terms of providing instant response and eliciting responses, is a unique quality of the medium. Internet marketing is sometimes considered to have a broader scope because it not only refers to , such as, the Internet, e-mail, and wireless media, but also it includes management of digital customer data and electronic customer relationship management (ECRM) systems. Internet marketing ties together creative and technical aspects of the Internet including design, development, advertising, and sales.
Everything you mentioned in that post is pretty much key to this whole process and unfortunately you have to do a lot of the learning yourself as a lot of people are unwilling to offer much assistance.
