300,000 Video Views But I Only Make $2.00 A Day

    I have a motorcycle website: http://motorcycleassistant.com

I also have a cafepress motorcycle store: http://www.cafepress.com/maonlinestore

As well as a youtube channel: http://www.youtube.com/user/MotorcycleAssistant

These are my video stats as of today:

    Videos Uploaded: 16
    Video Views: 312,860
    Channel Views: 10,271
    Subscribers: 776

So my frustration is this, my website is just about 1 year old and my videos on my youtube channel all receive 5 stars. Yet I only make about $2.00 a day from this website. I just can not believe 300,000 videos views does not generate a higher amount of traffic to my actual website. My website only receives right around 100 UV a day.

I have been wanting to create more videos, but I have doubts on whether it is worth the time it takes to create them.

I am beginning to think it simply is not easy to monetize a motorcycle website. I have tried:

    * Cafepress t-shirts and other apparel: Zero Sales!

    * Commission Junction motorcycle affiliates: Hardly any commissions in over a year. Maybe $20.00 for the entire year.

    * Adsense and Youtube's Adsense Partner Program: This is where my average of about $2.00 or so a day comes from.

So I guess I am looking for some ideas on how you all would market and monetize this website because I am out of ideas.

    Thanks,

    Chad

Your website has very good and useful content. What you lag in is the theme and layout of the website. You also need to put 160x600 Google Ads on the sidebar on right had side because people have tendency to click that side. Also, use 336x280 ads as you will get good clicks here.

I do have a 160x600 set of Google Ads on the right sidebar and always have for about a year. So not sure why you are not seeing them maybe it is your location in the world.

    Thanks for your input.

I don't think you will get visitors who are willing to buy something from YouTube or CafePress. These are mainly recreational websites.
To get serious buyers you should do SEO for relevant keywords and at the same time you can advertise your site on online free classifieds.

    beg to differ
Page rank has no bearing on his SERP results, yes of course SEO is correct when you said that
But PR brings nothing except that you can sell links
One of my website which is an authority site is PR0 and is 1st on SERP, it was a PR5, but my competition is stiff, so my competitor found a better way by reporting that to google that i sell links, which i never did rather, and found to my horror in the next PR update my page rank went to 0 and it still remains 0 after one year, but i still retain the No.1 position, so the notion that PR affects your ranking is not true
Work on your onpage SEO factors, your website is lacking on that

i really feel sorry for ur low adsense earnings.
Meanwhile ur site @ pr 1 got good 99 pages content.. great.
    My suggestion :

Change the right banner google ad to show image ads.
    Now put a Large Rectangle (336 x 280)

above the title of each posts.
and change the ad font to tahoma large size..in ur adsense ctrl panel.

    it should work.
