flippa.com is the best out there. You can also use Sedo, but that's usually for the higher value domains like above $100.000 and it's not as cool.

Sedo is currently one of the best domain auctioning sites but they are more for the big domains/companies to buy from

In case my domain is sold in auction ar sedo.com. Will sedo pay me after deduction of service charges or I must pay them separately through payment options mention by them?

Once your domain is sold you will receive the money from sedo (less the service charge).
This is what happens when the domain is sold via sedo:
    1. sedo receives the money from the buyer
    2. sedo will ask you to prepare the domain for transfer
    3. if the transfer to the new owner is complete, they will send you the money.

www.bido.com is nice site to follow (seems to be down right now). They do one auction a day, you can see bidding in real time, at around mid-day.

bido seems to be okay now that they have a $28 reserve. Try and get your names listed on the greatdomains.com auction. that one rocks

If you're selling it on a forum, you can do whatever you want, but if you sell in on a dedicated site like sedo or flippa, then you will have to set a reserve price. Meaning that you will only have to sell the site if the bids are higher than that price. So you're essentially just telling them that you won't sell it for any less than that.
