Reasons why you SHOULD NOT make a make money online blog/site.

I've noticed that there is a lot of people who join up on here asking for help on marketing their SEO sites/ebooks, etc. Well here is the problem. There are already SO MANY sites that offer "make money online info" and such. Don't join the millions out there!

Why make money online and SEO sites are not good sites to start:
1. There are so many to begin with.
2. The make money online sites are SCAMMY subjects.
3. The competition is fierce.
4. You will have to pay (big bucks) to promote your ebook.
5. Its not creative or unique. Ding Ding.
6. Its a stupid topic.

CREATIVITY will put you in the right direction!

Next time you log into your twitter account, go look at how many of your followers are trying to spam you with money making links. Do you think they get far? Absolutely not.

I created a web site based on music just for fun. Its been up for about 5 weeks and the AdSense revenue is already sitting at $110.00 and here is the best part. I added AdSense just over two weeks ago... I guarantee none of you people with "make money online" sites could achieve that in such short time frame with zero money invested into advertising.

What's really funny is when someone makes a thread asking how they should start making money online. Then their signature says something like "click here to learn how I make $300 per day"...

 

There are a few that are indeed legit but they are either free methods or they cannot be learned overnight like many other scam sites claim.

I will be posting my story shortly. I'm just waiting for it to grow some more because its been growing quite fast the last few days!

ahah so true. I find the people that are creating these web sites are the ones who are broke. If you check their traffic rank, its not even in the top 100,000 or their site is worth less than a thousand bucks yet they claim to make hundreds daily.

I always warn new affiliates that the make money online and Internet marketing niche is the absolute WORST place to get started - yet that's where so many try to start.

Not only is it a highly competitive market and not only are many of the products re-hashed hyped-filled junk - but the competition consists of lots of sharks that know every trick in the book to make sales including black hat techniques like cookie stuffing - so newbies have little chance of competing.

If you are going to start a make money online site, you just have to figure out how your site is going to be special. As long as you give out free content, they will come.

 

Almost there is no topic left for which competition is not tough. You will face tough competition everywhere because so many people are jumping into websites business now a days. Even it is very much difficult to find a suitable domain for your website.
So, the topic of your website does not matter much. You just need Good and Unique Content.

 

In my honest opinion most make money online blogs have no idea what they're talking about.
However there are many desperate people online who will believe just anything and read crap all day long

 

As long as you have believers, this make money online thing will work. Every niche is saturated, so pointing at just one niche is not saying much. Yes, there are tens of thousands of web pages on making money online, but there are also millions of people out there who think money falls from the sky when you're doing business online. There is still demand for such promises.

I myself was one of those people interested in money making blog, especially ptc/ptr without doing some research first. The result was all of my ptc/ptr are scams (oh, well, I did it many years ago, when I don't have experience on internet marketing). In my opinion, many newbies choose money making web/blog because it's the most simple way...using only little thought
So, what do you think best for newbie to start making money online? I used to start with google adsense, but it still needs some skill and to have good traffic, you must have good articles or contents...

From my perspective, it is not about whether MMO works or not, but it is more about whether what you are doing is ethical or not.

If I am making peanuts and still start a MMO confiding my real status and how I work out different things to make more cash, then it is a nice ethical thing; something I wouldn't be ashamed to tell my parents.

But if you make 30 cents a day and sell an ebook 'how I make $30000 every single day', you are a con...could try and be an honest pimp instead..

P.S: All said, I think the topic starter is not being true here..Yes, less competition is all fine. But a 5 week old blog.., a music one at that cannot make $110 so quick unless you purchased an existing high traffic site..

 

I am especially referring to people who know nothing about making money online. MMO is simple, create a UNIQUE and content heavy site. If its good enough it'll spread itself from little effort.

Most people just use the money niche because its the first thing that pop into their head.

Think about it, if you're not making any money how can you give advise?

I never said don't do it, I'm just saying you'd be surprised at how being unique can bring results a lot faster.

 

Well, they can pretend that they are making money using fake screenshots and photoshopped checks. You just need to read a few forum posts here and there and you can already start teaching others who will believe that you are an expert even though you never made more than $100 online. How would they know if you're not an expert if you say that you are? How to make money online can be taught in 10 minutes really, but actually making money online can take years of experience.

You are growing faster than Google. Ahhh.. Even Google didn't start making such a big money when they start business but they had spent thousands or dollars on the promotion.

Music songs sites are great to go with but still they can't grow in such a fast pace as you claim.
