What are the best plugins for a Wordpress Review site

I want to thank everyone that comments on this thread thanks in advance.

Here is the deal, I want to start a product review blog based on the Wordpress platform.

One day when I was getting a quote from a potential blog design company, they told me that there were 6 plugins for Wordpress that can be used to start a product review blog but...

Of course they did not tell me what they were. I tried to do a Google search to find them myself but I only managed to find 1 of them:

1) The DG Review Site (DGRS) plugin for WordPress

Are there anymore plugins you know about that I can use to jumpstart my product review blog?

 

The plugin has been updated and is a lot better now.

There is a plugin that allows visitors to give a star rating to your articles. Should look good on a review blog

That's actually not a new plugin, he just made a theme and packed up SB Review, a free open source plugin. You can download it for free, you don't have to pay him.

 

There is a new plug in by Neil Harvey called reviews Press

Anyone try this? Is it the same as DG script?

 

He's selling (illegally, I'd say, under the creative commons license), the free SB Review plugin with his own theme. So again, you don't need to pay him.

SB Review is based on version 1 of WP Review Site, from 2006, and hasn't been updated since early 2007. It'll probably break when WP 2.7 comes out in less than a month since the comments template format is changing.

WP Review Site 2.0 is the only user review plugin for WordPress being actively developed and supported by the author.

 

SB review is working fine with WP 2.7, I just upgraded to Wp 2.7 yesterday. I am using it on http://www.reviewmirchi.com, go to any post to have a preview.

I've recently started using WFReview, which is a fantastic Wordpress Review Plugin. I did a lot of research with the other plugins offered, but the main thing that got me with WFReview is the support. Their member forum questions are answered promptly, and they are very willing to make updates and changes as users request them. It's pretty cheap in my opinion for what you get. They offer a 30 day guarantee if that is a concern to you.

 

I'm sure your posting the exact same thing in multiple threads has nothing to do with your affiliate link in your signature.

You should defiantly have the top vies plugin.
